CRAFT RESIN Deep Pour Up to 5cm Casting Epoxy - 12L Mix (2:1) | Crystal Clear
Craft Resin 12L Deep Pour Epoxy is a bulk casting kit developed for large river tables, wood slabs, oversized moulds and professional workshop projects. The crystal-clear, low-viscosity 2:1 formula provides extended working time for high-volume applications and supports controlled pours up to 5 cm per layer for deep, glass-like results.
- Up to 5 cm per layer — in wide, open moulds with good heat dissipation. Reduce to 3–4 cm in narrow or enclosed moulds, and build deeper castings up in several layers.
- Smooth self-leveling, bubble-release formula — optimized low-viscosity (600 cps) resin pours smoothly and helps reduce trapped bubbles.
- Easy, consistent mixing — simple 2:1 ratio with extended working time (approximately 1 hour at 25°C) for deep and large projects.
- Durable cure — cures in 48–72 hours (depending on temperature and mass) and develops strong hardness once fully cured.
- Heat resistance — withstands heat up to 80°C once fully cured.
- Yellowing resistance — formulated for higher yellowing resistance than standard coating grades (manufacturer statement, no test method given).
- Ventilation & handling — use in a well-ventilated space and follow the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for full handling guidance. In its uncured, liquid state, Deep Pour should not come into contact with food or drink.
Kit includes: 12L total (8L resin + 4L hardener).

Product specifications
Craft Resin Deep Pour Epoxy is designed for thick castings where standard tabletop coatings cannot be used. Its slow-curing, low-viscosity formula allows deep pours up to 5 cm per layer while helping control heat buildup during curing. This makes it ideal for projects that require large volumes of resin and exceptional clarity.
The formula self-levels naturally and allows trapped air to escape more easily, producing a smooth, crystal-clear finish with minimal bubbles. With a precise 2:1 mix ratio and working time of approximately 1 hour at 25 °C, it provides greater control when working on large moulds, river tables, and complex casting projects.
Once fully cured, the resin forms a durable, glass-like surface with excellent clarity, and is formulated for higher yellowing resistance than standard coating grades, according to the manufacturer (no test method stated). It is suitable for professional woodworking, decorative castings, and preservation projects such as embedding objects or preserving flowers.

FAQ
If you have any other question, please, visit our FAQ section or write us in Live Chat
What projects is the 12L Deep Pour Epoxy Resin kit best for?
The 12L Deep Pour Epoxy Resin kit is designed for large casting projects, including river tables, large wood slabs, live edge furniture, oversized moulds and professional woodworking applications that require a high volume of epoxy resin.
Is 12L Deep Pour Epoxy Resin suitable for large river tables?
Yes. The 12L Deep Pour Epoxy Resin kit is ideal for large river tables and furniture projects where a significant amount of casting resin is required. The larger volume makes it easier to complete bigger pours without combining multiple smaller kits.
Does Craft Resin yellow over time?
Craft Resin is formulated to be yellowing-resistant and helps resist yellowing over time. It is not immune to yellowing — clarity is affected by prolonged direct sunlight — and we do not describe it as non-yellowing.
Can I use 12L Deep Pour Epoxy Resin for large woodworking projects?
Yes. The 12L kit is designed for large woodworking applications, including live edge tables, timber slabs, furniture builds and deep casting projects where more epoxy resin volume is needed.
How do I know if 12L of Deep Pour Epoxy Resin is enough for my project?
The amount of Deep Pour Epoxy Resin required depends on your mould dimensions, pour depth and the volume of wood or other materials inside your project.
Use our Epoxy Resin Calculator to estimate the amount of resin needed before starting your river table or large casting project.
What is the difference between 12L and other Deep Pour Epoxy Resin kit sizes?
The 12L Deep Pour Epoxy Resin kit is designed for large-scale projects that require a higher volume of resin. Smaller sizes, such as 1.5L and 6L, are better suited for smaller and medium-sized projects, while the 12L kit is ideal for large river tables, wood slabs and high-volume casting applications.
Explore our complete range of Deep Pour Epoxy Resin kits to compare sizes and find the right option for your project.
What is the mixing ratio for Deep Pour Epoxy Resin?
Deep Pour Epoxy Resin is mixed 2:1 by volume — two parts resin to one part hardener. Measure by volume and mix thoroughly before pouring.
How deep can one layer of Deep Pour Epoxy Resin be?
Pour up to 5 cm per layer, in wide, open moulds with good heat dissipation. Deeper castings are built up in several layers.
How long is the working time for Deep Pour Epoxy Resin?
Approximately 1 hour at 25°C. Larger mixed volumes reduce the working time, so plan the pour before mixing.
How long does Deep Pour Epoxy Resin take to cure?
It cures in 48–72 hours, depending on temperature and the mass of the pour. Do not demould before 48 hours. Full mechanical strength develops over about 21 days.
